La Virgen del Valle del Espiritu Santo

Mariana Acrisols a tradition of pure roots Guaiquerí. Spiritual and Social conjunction of the New Sparta and its Patron. The Miracle of Hope. Where did the Virgin till Paraguachoanas beaches? Since the early years of life the enthronement of the Virgin del Valle in Margarita, the beautiful image of the object was more Acrisols worship and veneration of the largest on the island. Quickly and that worship is worship that were extended to the former provinces of the island: Cumana, Barcelona and finally Maturín, so that by the time of Independence, Our Lady of the Nativity of the Holy Spirit of the Valley had become the patron all the East of Venezuela.

Special devotion, and unwavering férvida bordering on worship, won the Virgin Valley between Indian guaiqueríes of Margarita and Coche and siblings in the area of maritime Cumaná properly. The descendants of those Aboriginal Metis Antilleans have inherited from their parents the same indus-Hispanic devotional zeal of those in the Pearl Goddess of the East, you see, at the same time, the Queen of Heaven and the Divine. Guaricha the Caribbean. Secular cult, full of history and genuine Venezuelan colored wonderful legends. The spiritual liberation from the magnetic smile of ineffable Generala insigne, and the other, the vital force of the ancestor in exaltation perennial power maker obvious miracles surrounding invisible but palpable, the Virgin Islands as a halo of glory that only initiated in the eyes devout love for her, you know display Where he came from? When he arrived for the first time and ultimately to the beaches Paraguachoanas? According to data taken today as reasonably accurate, the first news we have today of the Virgin of the Valley of the Holy Spirit, is that his career destinal to the island of Margarita began in Jerusalem, where the hosts of the great Saladin took the Holy City .

Apparently, the Islamic leader gave the Christian knights take the picture. In fact, later today the patron of our homeland in East Hungary during the preparation of the Third Crusade. Hence presumably the Virgin was carried to Spain, because, according to the existing data connection, it was starting again in the company of Christians who were released in Grenada, following the surrender of Boadil El Chico and the delivery of the historic square to the Catholic monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella. . Later, Our Lady of the Nativity comes to Malta, and there still special pilgrimage to Ireland. There in the Green Erin, our future employer, I would say that made the final of his next high due to our homeland. He was a young Spanish-Irish priest who brought us to the Virgen del Valle. It chronicles the Levite that company to Lord Harry Corainn Fernando, an emigrant from Ireland who came to Margarita for the year 1777. Before arriving at the beaches Margarita, travelers stopped in Trinidad, so that this island was the scene immediately preceding it was the Virgin before reaching the Valley of the Holy Spirit, just the happy arrival occurred on September 8 of the that year, and why is this date that year is dedicated to all the inhabitants of our eastern region to hold such a great event and remember to Christianity Venezuela. Popular legends The legends of the Virgin of the Valley we have collected from people's lips. Refer to the same spot where stands the old chapel had few trees. They say that a guaiquerí, cutting some trees, he found an open box and discovered that the image of the Virgin. The bag and called the people. He originally erected a chapel of palms. There began the devotion. Many reported that there are various legends about the Virgin Valley. One of them said that the sea threw the beaches of Porlamar, where it was an Indian. He was a morning that was out fishing and hid under a tree so that the Spaniards are not stole. Others say it was a fisherman, who took over from her.

Legends are borne by the people. Not that it has been able to establish the truth. An old intellectual Porlamar assured us that what is said about the Virgin Valley is pure legend, nothing in particular. But the most certain is that a Spanish boat has launched into the sea during a shipwreck and that has come to the beaches of Porlamar. There he found the guaiquerí and drove to the Valley. Enough has been written about the origins of this Marian devotion, and many are unaware of how he came to Margarita that venerate the beautiful image with the most intense fervor, and the natives came to this region. Caracueyes found among the few who did guaiqueríes cut logs and vines. Tiny, white hands in his pious attitude and smiling at the sky. So begins the story of old, so that the counting will begin. And the tradition continues throwing grooves of miracles, fanning the flame of the spirit of full devotion are multiplied prayers and tears. It seems that the Margarita is clinging to his land by salt bonds of tradition that the fact of being born into it. The Virgin is the pilothouse, spiritual compass of many faithful, and thousands of thousands of believers who come after chopping seas and crossed paths to the sacred altar to meet the promises made on their behalf.

Because this is Ella, a miraculous Virgencita Margarita who evokes deep in their heckling and whom the entire people of the island has the fervor of his words, their miseries and pains, like a mother who listens and resolves with all his heart of pigeon sent from heaven. The Valley of Miracles There is a saying that says Margarita "to mourn the Valley," this may well say in summary what is for Our Lady of the East Valley. She is the person who collects the tears of mothers, the scenes of castaways lost children, the seeds of the camps, prison sentences, all parts of the human body, in short a trail of miracles that speak clearly of the intervention of the Mother of the Valley to their children's favorite. The leg of pearl, the double miracle of the Virgin, is the precious link in this endless chain. A plunger head is injured by an evil streak in his leg. Establishing a gangrene in the sick. Doctors amputated the leg resolved. The woman diver in history, is home to the loving Mother Margarita Excelsa, asking him to cure the sick with leg giving her husband a promise. Slowly the wound is healed, the diver is another man in his face and encourages the joy of healthy recovery. Failure to fulfill the promise made by his wife, searching the sea, diving into his work. the gift to the Virgen del Valle. Come fishing for pearls. Is dragged along the bottom of the sea, painstakingly searching for the pearl of the pledge. The devout island began its work, the thought fixed in celestial Queen, who was in debt to the divine grace. At the very moment that his seaman's knife opened in two halves the first mollusc arises from viscose pulp Luciente baroque with a perfect shape of a leg, which stresses the scar of a pustule.

Full of the deepest emotion, the bronze was a fisherman and presea placed on the throne of the miraculous image. This miracle is exhibited in the museum of the Virgen del Valle. The Virgin of the Valley come the natives of the island and even across the country, such is its reputation, to interpret his grace is truly overwhelming, the combination of ex-votos, usually of gold, contained in his basilica. You make promises, some rare, as you go "swimming" on the esplanade that surrounds it, a number of meters, sometimes hundreds. Not surprisingly, the "miracles" or tales of wonders, is a topic of conversation and enfervorizamineto and still be part of the folklore of the island. As to miracles, not only are the Virgin, but there are others such as the legend which tells of Christ Pampatar, who came aboard, his image of a Spanish ship, bound for another port was unleashed a storm that followed by others, forced the captain to leave the Christ who said, they said this, his determination to be Pampateño.
