National Parks:

Cerro Copey - Location: In the center of the eastern island of Margarita
Surface: 7130 ha (Decree 27 February 1974)
The park takes its name from the typical flower of Copey and is a natural drainage, where most moisture of the island. It is surrounded by valleys and plains and forest vegetation species recorded thin trees and shrubs. At the higher is the tropical dry forest and tropical rain forest, where trees thrive copey with its yellow and white flower.

Laguna de La Restinga - Location: In the North-Central that connects the east with Macanao
Area: 18,862 ha (Decree 6 February 1974)
It consists of a narrow string of sandy coast and lagoons filled with mangroves. The land bordering La Restinga belong to the Quaternary period. Near the main lake there are low-elevation hills, the most important are: Tetas de María Guevara (100 m) and Cerro Agua Verde. Cerro Matasiete - Guayamurí - Location: In the northeast sector of the island of Margarita
Surface: 1672 ha (Decree 27 February 1974)
There are two hills oriented north-south, separated by a slight depression. The highest peak is the Guayamurí 480 meters and the other to the south, is the Matasiete with 680 mts.
